Hubble sees ‘Misplaced Galaxy’ within the Virgo constellation picture of the day for Dec. 11, 2025


The Hubble House Telescope has turned its sharp eye towards a ghostly swirl of stars and gasoline often called the “Misplaced Galaxy,” given its faint and elusive look to stargazers. Extra scientifically, this galaxy is called NGC 4535 and its dwelling to plenty of stellar exercise.

Virgo constellation.
