Archaeologists have found 18 historical tombs in an Egyptian city alongside the Mediterranean Sea.

The tombs ‪—‬ which have been unearthed in Marina el-Alamein (additionally spelled Alamin), about 60 miles (100 kilometers) west of Alexandria ‪—‬ date to the Ptolemaic (322 to 30 B.C.) or Roman (30 B.C. to A.D. 395) interval, the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities stated in a translated assertion asserting the discover.
